Commentary
Found in a thesauron inside the pronaos of the 2nd-phase Artemision. About the discovery, see a page of Pernier's excavation note-book now published by Bartolini 2014; this sherd was part of the 'treasure of Benghazi', which has been stolen in 2011 at the National Commercial Bank at Benghazi, as shown by Ensoli 2012.
