Commentary

From the lettering and display on Pacho's copy, it appears that the stele (possibly a slab shuting a loculus) was first used on this side. Vattier de Bourville first copied also the inscriptions on the opposite side, which are clearly related to a re-use of later date and are thus duly published as IRCyr2020 C.562. The latter's copy being known only in print without any description of the lettering, the main side was erroneously republished as IRCyr2020 C.563 and will be cancelled in a future edition.
