Support: Rock-cut niche, now broken off at left, the lower part of which forming an altar (dimensions not registered).
Layout: Inscribed on the rear wall (w: 0.49).
Letters: Dimensions of letters not registered; carefully cut letters, slightly slantering mu.
Date: Perhaps fourth century BC (lettering).
Findspot: Found before 1923 at Cyrene ➚: Ain Hofra.
Place of origin: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1982 in situ at Ain Hofra.

Commentary
The lost part at left might have contained one more altar. But the inscription is clearly in relation with the preserved part of the niche and its abbreviated form is due to the reduced space available.
This is one amongst the series of altars dedicated to the Eumenides at Ain Hofra and also at other places outside the city walls of Cyrene.
