Last recorded location: Seen and copied by S. Applebaum between 1943 and 1945. The tomb was rediscovered in 1969 by S. Farag of the Department of Antiquities on the W. side of the Wadi Bel Ghadir, West Necropolis, thus so-called 'Tomb Farag'. Seen and photographed by J.M. Reynolds in 1970 in situ. Not seen by IGCyr team.

Commentary

Line 2 was added later on, as shown by the lettering.

The woman's name Φερώι was rightly guessed from Pacho's copy by Hiller von Gärtringen for Blass in SGDI, as already mentioned by Masson 1967, p. 227, footnote 12, which was ignored by Farag – Reynolds 1978-1979. We have now three further occurrences of this name in Cyrene.
