Source description

Support: Sherd of beige clay from a large vase with widely open shape (w: 0.042 × h: 0.03 × d: 0.018).

Layout: Scratched on two lines on the inner side.

Letters: 0.005; for theta, a very awkward circle and a bar at middle, the whole resembling an unfinished beta; pi nearly symmetrical.

Date: First half of fourth century BC (Rosamilia) (lettering, textual context).

Findspot: Found in 1993 by Bacchielli at Cyrene: in a sounding on the agora, amongst a refill layer near the Sanctuary of the Anax.

Place of origin: Cyrene.

Last recorded location: Not seen by IGCyr team.
