Source description
Support: White marble stele, slightly tapering, with moulding above on three sides (whole stele w: 0.4 × h: 0.98 × d: 0.22).
Layout: Inscribed on front face (w: 0.31-0.335 × h: 0.92 × d: 0.19) at 0.1 under the moulding.
Letters: 0.027-0.03; flat and rather small loop of phi, symmetrical nu, slantering sigma.
Date: Second half of fourth century BC (lettering).
Findspot: Found before 1978 at Cyrene ➚: probably from North Necropolis.
Place of origin: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum, 3368. Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1997 in Shahat: Cyrene Museum.
