Commentary
Due to the date of the ceramics and the shape of letter nu, a right-to-left reading seems less plausible than the left-to-right one, which we choose to edit. However this remains an undecided question for trademark of type 15B at Johnston 1979, pp. 104, 198 and Johnston 2006, pp. 84-85.
