Date: Probably first half of fourth century BC (lettering).

Findspot: Found before 1979 at Cyrene ➚: exact findspot unrecorded.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum, 96+98. Seen by C.Dobias-Lalou in 1979 in Shahat, Cyrene Museum.

Commentary

From the series of circular basins, it seems reasonable to guess that the word for 'tithe' should be restored in fragment a; the iota is probably the beginning of a personal name.

The fragments are not exactly adjacent, but the space between letters allows to place fragment b near the right end of fragment a so that the isolated alpha of fragment b would follow the iota of fragment b. If so, we would have the beginning of a personal name such as Ἰάσις or Ἰάσων, both of which are very frequent in Cyrenaica. This possibility however should not be pushed too far ahead.
