Source description

Support: White marble slighlty tapering stele with plain moulding on top, broken off obliquely under the inscription and chipped off at both upper angles (w: 0.325 × h: 0.32 × d: 0.15).

Layout: Inscribed in two lines on the shaft (w: 0.325 × h: 0.295 × d: 0.13).

Letters: 0.32, no serifs; slantering mu and sigma, dissymmetrical nu.

Date: Probably first half of fourth century (lettering).

Findspot: Found before 2004 (and probably after 1948) at Cyrene: presumably in an undetermined Necropolis.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum, 2007. Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 2004 in Shahat: Cyrene Museum.
