Commentary

Two types of restoration may be suggested: 1. one name at the accusative and father's name at line 1, one name at the nominative and father's name at line 2, forming the dedication of the statue of the former by the latter; the space available would allow for the formula δεκάταν ἀνέθηκε; 2. one name at the nominative at line 1, his father's name at the genitive at line 2, forming an ordinary dedication by one single man and only the verb at line 3.
