Support: Fragment of a rectangular white marble block, broken off at left, at right and behind (w: 0.142 × h: 0.065 × d: 0.082).
Layout: Inscribed on the face in one line.
Letters: 0.02 with thickening at ends; pi with upper bar slightly protruding.
Date: End of third or beginning of second century BC (lettering).
Findspot: Found before 1977 at Cyrene ➚: exact findspot unrecorded.
Place of origin: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum, 436. Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1977 and again 2001 in Shahat: Cyrene Museum.

Commentary
Another possibility would be to read -ίππαν Α-, but the inscription was written on only one line and such an accusative of the honoured person would normally be followed by the nominative of the dedicant (although there seems to exist one occurrence of an isolated accusative in IRCyr2020 C.278). So we prefer the nominative as a caption for the associated image.
