Commentary
The reading of this inscription has been considerably changed for this second edition, following Rosamilia 2023. His observation of a larger space between ll. 2 and 3 prompts to divide the inscription into two parts: three onomastic formulas displayed on three columns of two lines would have been the captions of statues or other images standing above, only part of the central one being preserved. Line 3 would have extended on the whole width of the monument and provided the usual formula of dedication with the name and father's name of the priest lost at left and the verb of dedication lost at right.
Personal names ending with -λης might be compounds in -κλῆς, -θάλης or -τέλης. A father's name ending with -λος was plausibly a compound name in -βωλος.
