Support: A double rock-cut altar with two shallow compartments much worn out (approximate dimensions estimated from photograph w: 0.78 × h: 0.14), immediately to the right of IGCyr133900².

Layout: Inscribed on the front below the compartments in the middle of the whole plinth.

Letters: 0.13; slanting mu (?), upsilon without tail.

Date: Probably second half of fifth or beginning of fourth century BC (lettering).

Findspot: Found in 2012 by the Mission of Urbino at Cyrene ➚: in the lower part of Wadi el Aish.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: First studied in 2012 by E. Rosamilia in situ in the Southern Extra-Mural Sacred Zone.

Commentary

The three letters being well centred, an abbreviation is sure. As pointed out by E. Rosamilia, the upsilon has no tail and the third letter, which has the same appearance as the preceding, might be the central part of a mu, the first oblique stroke of which would overlap the right part of the uspilon, forming a ligature.

Although ligatures are not common in the archaic period, the shape of upsilon gives a clue for a high date.
