Commentary

This very poor fragment seems to contain only personal names. The lettering is very similar to the bulk of accounts of damiergoi of the second half of the fourth century and the series of names and fathers' names might belong to the header of such a document. There is a triple punct after the first preserved name and none between other groups of names. This might perhaps allow to insert this fragment into the accounts, the first segment belonging to the name of the eponymous priest and the two following pairs of names (not separated by puncts) being name and father's name of damiergoi. However, the vestiges of line 1 are not compatible with the expected mention of the priest (either ἱαρεύς or ἱαριτεύοντος). The idea should not be pushed too far ahead.

For line 2, no name ending with -ίτας is attested up to now at Cyrene. The vestige of the preceding letter may be interpreted diversely: if a lambda, Φιλίτας, known at Cos, and Πολίτας, known at Rhodes, Cos and elsewhere, are good candidates; if a chi, Ἀρχίτας, attested in Dorian regions, would be good; if an alpha, there are several possibilities, which would make the hypothesis too hazardous. For line 3, Deinis, which is already well attested locally, seems a sensible restoration.
