Commentary

Dobias-Lalou 1970 was sceptical about the attribution of the graffito to Cyrenaica, but later finds, probably known at the time by the editors and later published in Boardman – Hayes 1973 (whence IGCyr003800² and IGCyr003900²) now lead to accept it as inscribed on the spot.
