English translation

Lentichos son of Ammonios, when celebrating the telesphoria of Karneia, offered as tithe (scil. the statue of) Ammonios son of Epicharmos.

Commentary

Lentichos seems to have dedicated the statue of his father Ammonios, as suspected by Laronde 1987, pp. 116, 120, who dated the dedication between 370 and 360 BC. Rosamilia 2023 pushes the bracket down to 250 without providing arguments.
