Source description
Support: White marble base with egg and dart mouldings at top and bottom on three sides (whole base w: 0.855 × h: 0.32 × d: 0.585).
Layout: Inscribed in two lines on front face between the mouldings (w: 0.74 × h: 0.155 × d: 0.48), in two lines carefully centred.
Letters: 0.045; very carefully cut; very small serifs; still slanting mu and sigma; the right part of pi is longer than usual.
Date: Probably first quarter of the third century BC (lettering, prosopography).
Findspot: Found before 1979 at Cyrene ➚: probably from South Necropolis.
Last recorded location: Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1979 at Cyrene ➚: inside archaeological enclosure North of Caesareum.
