Support: White marble rectangular base with footprints on top, broken off at upper left angle (w: 0.595 × h: 0.21 × d: 0.44).
Layout: Inscribed on front face, lines centered along vertical axis.
Letters: 0.024; rho with small loop, slanting sigma, calice-shaped upsilon.
Date: End of fourth or beginning of third century BC
Findspot: Found by G. Oliverio between 1927 and 1935 at Cyrene ➚: North side of Sanctuary of Apollo.
Place of origin: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1977 and again 1983 at Cyrene ➚: Sanctuary of Apollo, West of Strategeion.

Commentary
Pugliese Carratelli could not find the stone in 1960 and published this inscription from a drawing in Oliverio's papers.
The stone, being complete at left back, allows to restore 3 letters at the beginning of line 1; in the repertory of Cyrenaean names, Σώπατρος is the only name matching the gap. Although the father's name is rather rare at Cyrene, it would be hazardous to restore the same first name also at IGCyr0990002.
