Last recorded location: Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1977 and again 1983 at Cyrene ➚: Sanctuary of Apollo, West of Strategeion.

Commentary

Pugliese Carratelli could not find the stone in 1960 and published this inscription from a drawing in Oliverio's papers.

The stone, being complete at left back, allows to restore 3 letters at the beginning of line 1; in the repertory of Cyrenaean names, Σώπατρος is the only name matching the gap. Although the father's name is rather rare at Cyrene, it would be hazardous to restore the same first name also at IGCyr099000².
