Source description
Support: Altar with probably two or three compartments, now broken off at left and on top (w: 1.13 × h: 0.30 × d: 0.74).
Layout: Inscribed on front face in correspondence with the right compartment.
Letters: 0.03; middle-size omicron, slanting sigma.
Date: Probably fourth century BC (lettering).
Findspot: Found by G. Oliverio in 1933 at Cyrene ➚: Sanctuary of Apollo, East of the so-called Wall of Nicodamos.
Place of origin: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Seen by D. Morelli in 1960 in situ, in the Sanctuary of Apollo. Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1983 and again in 2010 in situ.

No name can be now read at left, but there were probably other deities to whom the altar was dedicated.
