Commentary

Morelli's side a) = IGCyr side c); Morelli's side b) = IGCyr side b) ; Morelli's side c) = IGCyr side a)

The surface is in very bad condition and nothing was read by C. Dobias-Lalou on the lateral faces, so that we are not able to indicate which one is on the right and which one is on the left. Morelli's readings might correspond to an owner's mark, consisting either of a man's name (side b) with homonymous father's name (side c), as in translations above, or of a name written twice and abbreviated on side c; in the latter case the meaning would be (scil. I belong to) Chartadas; (scil. I belong to) Charta(das). Rosamilia 2023 rightly points out that god's name and owner's name inscribed on the same altar are known only outside the city-walls (for instance at Ain Hofra or alongside the road to Balagrai).

Morelli's reading for side a), Κωρήτω, is not acceptable on grammatical grounds.

The mention Κρητικός is also attested in IGCyr0196002.
