Source description

Support: Lid of a rock-cut sarcophagus, with an entablature for a half-statue (dimensions unknown).

Layout: Inscribed on the front of the plinth aimed for supporting a half-statue.

Letters: 0.10; no serifs.

Date: Fourth or third century BC (lettering, context).

Findspot: Found in 2004 by C. Dobias-Lalou at Cyrene: North Necropolis, West of so-called 'Red Tomb' (see commentary).

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Studied by C. Dobias-Lalou in situ, in the North Necropolis.

This woman's name, not otherwise attested in Cyrenaica, is akin to Φιλυλλιώ known at Cyrene through IRCyr2020 C.126 and commented by Masson 1983.
