Source description
Support: White marble base, reddish from earth, with plain mouldings on top and below on three sides (w: 0.62 × h: 0.27 × d: 0.47).
Layout: Inscribed on the face between the mouldings (w: 0.58 × h: 0.13 × d: 0.45).
Letters: 0.03; no serifs, slanting sigma, smaller omicron and omega.
Date: Probably third century BC (lettering).
Findspot: Seen and copied by L. Cherstich before 2002 at Cyrene ➚: South Necropolis, tomb S8 Cassels (found with its half-figure statue).
Place of origin: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum, inv. number unknown. Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 2001 in Shahat: Cyrene Museum
