Source description
Support: Small fragment of a white marble panel, broken off at left, above and below; as all breaks are worn out (as if from water), it is only probable that the right edge and back are original (w: 0.05 × h: 0.07 × d: 0.035).
Layout: Inscribed on the face.
Letters: 0.008, lightly cut, without serifs; xi without central hasta, non-slanting sigma.
Date: Perhaps second half of third or beginning of second century BC (lettering).
Findspot: Found before 1982 at Cyrene ➚: exact findspot unrecorded.
Place of origin: Findspot.
Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum, 2997. Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1982 in Shahat: Cyrene Museum.

Commentary
The very fragmentary condition of this stone does not allow any sure reading. The only clear word is δίς 'twice'. Some possibilities are given in the apparatus. But no choice can be made. The text seems to be in koine (see l. 5) and the layout and size of the letters recall some official texts such as decisions of the Lagid kings or other regulations.
