Commentary

For the date, Oliverio said «buona epoca»; SEG, 9.178 has erroneously «second century BC». C. Dobias-Lalou says from photograph 'third century BC'.

With such a date, compounds in -φύης are very few in Cyrenaica; the father's name being the same, the name at l. 4 may be taken as identical with that at IGCyr065210², l. 97.

The lettering being homongeneous, this should not be a list of priests, as suggested by Hondius in SEG, whereas Oliverio cautiously mentioned a «lista pubblica».
