Commentary
For the first edition of this corpus, the ending -τος had not seemed sufficient to restore the priest's name at l. 6. New arguments have been produced by Rosamilia 2023 for the priest Theuchrestos son of Polytimos, mentioned at IGCyr0148002 a.i.9. This is a plausible identification, which allows to be more precise about the date of this account.
At line 4 the ending -ευς belongs to the father's name of the third damiergos, which should have a nominative in -ης. The length of this name cannot be determined because the line breaks do not coincide with word breaks.
We follow for the second edition Rosamilia's restoration of 'figs' at line 9. However, his reading of a deteriorated nu at line 3 is neither confirmed by Paci's autopsy nor by the excellent photograph provided by the first editors; moreover, all instances of nu in this inscription (line 8) have the long hastae cut obliquely.
