Source description

Support: Two fragments of komast cup, Attic black-glazed ware (diameter 0.123).

Layout: Scratched below the handles, extending probably more than halfway around the cup.

Letters: 0.006-0.009; crossed theta.

Date: Ca. 500 BC (monument type).

Findspot: Found between 1963 and 1965 at Taucheira: archaic votive deposit.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Seen by J. Boardman between 1963 and 1965 at Tūkrah. Not seen by IGCyr team.

Commentary

Undoubtedly a dedication. But the lacuna might have included another name, such as Θεοκράτης. Moreover this name might be either the individual name or perhaps, although not so frequent, the father's name. On the other hand the verb of dedication was possible but not necessary.
