Support: Rectangular limestone base with two footprints on top (w: 0.70 × h: 0.30 × d: 0.60).

Layout: Inscribed: aligned along left margin.

Letters: 0.025-0.028.

Date: Between ca. 300 and 270 BC (Rosamilia) (lettering).

Findspot: Found before 1916 at Cyrene: exact findspot unrecorded.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum, 388. Seen by C. Dobias-Lalou in 1977 in Shahat: Cyrene Museum.

Kallimachos son of Olympiodoros dedicated to Cyrene.

Commentary

The date, wrongly given as second century BC in SEG, has been copied by others. Oliverio used his own formula «buona epoca». Rosamilia now places it more precisely in the first third of the third century BC., a period with many dedications by individuals.
