Source description

Support: Bottom and belly of a fragmentary cup of black-glazed Laconian ware (w: 0.13 × h: 0.09; diameter 0.20).

Layout: Scratched on outside of the lip (w: 0.105 × h: 0.025).

Letters: 0.01 to 0.015; three-strokes iota, mu with shorter right stroke, no omega.

Date: Ca. 550 BC (monument type, lettering).

Findspot: Found by C. Parisi Presicce in 1995 at Cyrene, West of Strategeion, in the so-called Agora of the Gods.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Seen by Cl. Parisi Presicce at Shahat: in the Storeroom of the Italian missions. Not seen by IGCyr team.
