Source description

Support: Fragment from bottom of a panel of medium-grained white marble (w: 0.105 × h: 0.069 × d: 0.088).

Layout: Inscribed on the pitted front face.

Letters: 0.018-0.022; very little in the way of serifs.

Date: Perhaps second century BC (lettering).

Findspot: Found in 1978 during the American excavations at Cyrene: Enclosed sanctuary of Demeter and Kore, area 11,1,1.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Cyrene Museum, Storeroom of the American excavations, 78-686. Seen by J. Reynolds at Shahat: in the Storeroom of the American excavations. Not seen by IGCyr team.
