Commentary

Another possibility would be to read -ίππαν Α-, but the inscription was written on only one line and such an accusative of the honoured person would normally be followed by the nominative of the dedicant (although there seems to exist one occurrence of an isolated accusative in IRCyr2020 C.278). So we prefer the nominative as a caption for the associated image.
