Support: Two adjacent fragments of a kothon, Corinthian ware (w: 0.074-).

Layout: Scratched on wall, below frieze.

Letters: 0.003-0.006; epsilon with three equal bars, straight iota, rho without tail.

Date: Ca. 500 BC (monument type).

Findspot: Found between 1963 and 1965 at Taucheira: archaic votive deposit.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Seen in 1965 by J. Boardman at Tūkrah. Not seen by IGCyr team.

Commentary

Boardman's restoration of the word χαριστήριον is quite convincing, although we hitherto have no parallel in other dedications from Cyrenaica.
