Support: Fragment of a marble panel broken on all sides (dimensions unknown).

Layout: Inscribed on two columns.

Letters: Height unknown.

Date: Between ca. 280 and ca. 250 BC (monument type).

Findspot: Copied by R.M. Smith and E.A. Porcher in 1861 at Cyrene: House of Jason Magnus (said Augusteum by Smith and Porcher).

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Probably lost.

Commentary

Although not adjacent to any of the contributors lists (IGCyr0652002, IGCyr0652102 and IGCyr0971702), this fragment, which could not be clearly interpreted by the first editors, belongs clearly to that group. Lacking precisions about the lett size, we cannot decide to which list this fragment belonged, the more so that, as pointed out by Rosamilia 2023, the display of letters at each line seems also slightly different (this argument should be taken cautiously, as we have only a drawing and a vey small part of the document).

For a possible identification of the name at line A.6, see IGCyr0967002, line 7: Iason son of Biandros might be the same man or a relative.
