Commentary

The length of the lines may be inferred from the restorated formula at line 6, on the basis of the repetitive lists of products. This results in an inscribed area much broader than most others, but this seems inescapable. In this regard, Rosamilia 2023 noticed that other accounts with the same earlier lettering show a special ordering of the products, namely IGCyr0125002, IGCyr0131002, IGCyr0881002. This induces him to cancel Oliverio's restoration of grapes at line 6 and read raisin instead, with a renewed list, largely restored, which we now endorse.

At line 1 there is no reason to admit with Oliverio a form δαμιοργοί which would not fit the dialect. We should rather have the name of the first damiergos at the genitive case of Damis. Another Damis is mentioned as the first damiergos in IGCyr0130002, but both lack their father's names, which were probably different, as we don't know examples of one and the same damiergos in charge in two different years.

At lines 1-3, the list of three damiergoi begins with Damis; we cannot be sure of the exact distribution of the two other preserved names, who may be themselves damiergoi or fathers of damiergoi (our translations are exempli gratia). On behalf of the special width of the stone, Rosamilia 2023 suggests that perhaps there were more than three damiergoi acting for this account. Such an anomaly seems surprising. One damiergos was perhaps mentioned at each line with a space left at right.

The damiergoi are undoubtedly mentioned here at the genitive. It is not clear whether the priest was also mentioned at the gentivie or at the nominative. Such a mixed syntax happens for instance at IGCyr0118002, IGCyr0127002, IGCyr0134002.
