Source description

Support: East wall of a rock-cut tomb, (dimensions unknown).

Layout: Inscribed within a rectangular area.

Letters: Height unknown.

Date: Probably second century BC (lettering).

Findspot: Copied by J.-R. Pacho in 1825 at Cyrene: South Necropolis.

Place of origin: Findspot.

Last recorded location: Seen by J.M. Reynolds in the sixties of twentieth century in the tomb of the South Necropolis. Not seen by IGCyr team.

Commentary

From the same tomb, not precisely identified in the South Necropolis, come also IGCyr0864002 and IGCyr0865002. IGCyr0862002 might also come from that tomb and is probably somewhat later.
