Commentary

This account, clearly displayed in two columns, is known only from Oliverio's publication. He provided a photograph of the fragments sticked on a hard support and his publication reflected that display. Rosamilia 2023, in turn, rightly questioned Oliverio's reconstruction on three points: 1) The lose fragment (d) might as well pertain to column 1; however, as it does not change the overall composition, the change is very light. 2) The fragment (e), which belongs to the bottom of the inscription, was erroneously placed by Oliverio at right and should be placed not far from the left edge, as shown by the content of the last line. 3) Lines 21 to 24, where both columns are missing, had been plausibly restored by Oliverio on basis of the order of products mentioned in IGCyr0143002 and similar inscriptions. However, as argued by Rosamilia 2023/>, it is highly probable that olive oil was mentioned after wine, whence the new line 20, missing both in Oliverio's edition and in IGCyr. Olives should not be considered missing, as they are no longer mentioned in accounts later than the end of the third century.

In this account, the few numbers that are preserved are higher than the prices per unit given in the preceding centuries and lower than those mentioned in the contemporary IGCyr0144002. Rosamilia 2016 (and Rosamilia 2017) was able to show that this reflects the change of monetary scale from silver standard to bronze standard in Cyrenaica in the first decades of the second century BC, shorlty after the change was deciced in Egypt.

At l. 30 the 'remainder' (λοιπόν) was not compulsorily mentioned (see also IGCyr0143002).
