Commentary

At line 1, the restoration [Ἁγή]σανδρος is based on IGCyr0108002, l. 80., in the lilst of nomophylakes on duty in 320. In fact, the father's name is restored there from this inscription. However, the lettering makes the identification very plausible.

The present dedication is clearly made by a distinguished man; both inscriptions seem to have been inscribed within a short span of time; both names have distinctive features of Cyrenaean onomastics and are rare enough to allow a connection between them.
