Commentary

The findspot is a tomb surveyed by Cherstich in 2007 and not previously registered by Cassels, in the South necropolis.

With this base, we now know the burial place of a man of high rank: commander of cavalry about 345 BC (IGCyr0840002, l. 13), he is mentioned both as ephoros and nomothetes in the diagramma of Ptolemy in 320 (IGCyr0108002, ll. 83 and 86). He may have died at the latest about 300 BC, but probably nearer to 320 BC.
